Marygreen Manor Wedding with Emma & Kingsley

The time had come for Emma & Kingsley’s Marygreen Manor wedding. Marygreen Manor is one of my local wedding venues and I am thankful to the wedding team who recommended my photography services to Emma and Kingsley.

I met Emma at her house first thing in the morning as bridal preparations got underway. I took the opportunity to capture some detail shots of the dresses, jewellery and shoes. Emma’s choice of Jimmy Choo shoes will be appreciated by many, I’m sure.

Emma chose a lace and tulle ballgown, while her bridesmaids embraced a welcome pop of red. Gorgeous bouquets bursting with colour effortlessly tied everything together.

After covering the bridal preparations, I headed to the venue to meet Kingsley, his brothers and best man ahead of the ceremony.

Rain had been threatening throughout the morning and almost held off. Unfortunately it just started to rain as Emma and her bridesmaids arrived at the venue but we were fortunate enough to have some covered areas to capture some photos before the ceremony.

A patient Kingsley waited with his best man ahead of Emma’s arrival.

Following the beautiful ceremony, we were granted a brief break in the weather, which was just enough time to allow for group photos outdoors, before hailstones, thunder and lighting descended up us.

Unsurprisingly, everyone made their way inside for more drinks, canopies’ and catch-ups chat before the wedding breakfast.

The reception room looked stunning and guests were definitely wowed over by the finishing touches.

The speeches brought cheers, laughter and tears to many eyes!

Because of the unfortunate change in weather, we had to put Emma & Kingsley’s creative photos on hold. But to our luck, this actually worked out in our favour as the lighting was perfect later in the day, and added an extra dimension of romance to their photos.

The lighting was just beautiful! I love this shot of the happy couple under the blossoming tree. Although small and compact, the garden at Marygreen Manor is beautiful and offered plenty of beautiful photo opportunities, which the couple love.

Inside also offers various nooks and crannies, perfect for photos.

After this, we made our way inside, for that all important cutting of the cake and first dance.
