While I love weddings of all sizes, there’s just something so intimate and personal about a smaller wedding and Amy and Craig’s nuptials were just that. On the 27th March 2016, the happy couple said their “I dos” in front of a small crowd of just family and friends at The Barn Bar & Grill, Kent.

Starting the day off in style with Champagne, another gift from Craig.
It was a happy affair as the wedding preparations took place at the Hotel Du Vin in Tunbridge Wells, just five minutes from the wedding venue with Amy, her sister, nieces, mum, auntie and Craig’s sister, all gathered before the wedding.
Amy and her dad share a moment before the ceremony. Their chosen wedding venue was The Barn & Grill, Kent, which oozes rural charm. Erected in traditional Kentish style, with exposed oak beams and columns running throughout certainly added to its appeal, while the refurbished bar and restaurant still retain the traditional features of a barn, creating that unique character and atmosphere loved by couples.
Amy wowed guests in a lace fishtail gown with sleeves, while an elegant veil completed the look.
It was a wedding of four seasons with sunshine, rain, showers, hail and even thunder but nonetheless, the wedding venue afforded plenty of locations for the group photos to be taken indoors.
Calverly Park opposite the wedding venue offered a perfect location for some post-ceremony photos, albeit it brief, before the rain interrupted us. That certainly didn’t put a damper on the day as the happy couple remained smiling throughout, which is reflected in their wedding photos.
Brief photos were also taken outside the Barn Bar & Grill, with beautiful brickwork offering a stunning backdrop.
The finishing touches were well thought out and offered a unique twist to their day.
Craig’s brother took on the role of bestman extremely well, and provided a very funny and entertaining speech about Craig and obviously the stag do.
I wish Amy and Craig every happiness in the life together.
