Dan & Siobhán’s Church & Cooling Castle Wedding

The beautiful wedding of Dan & Siobhán took place this July at St. Mary’s Church, Langley, in Maidstone, Kent, followed by their wedding breakfast and reception at the picturesque Cooling Castle Barn. The day began with beautiful weather and I knew it was going to be a good one!

The bridal preparations were a relaxed affair as the ladies got ready for the day ahead. The bride’s ‘something blue’ took the form of her wedding shoes, which added an unexpected twist to her look.

Pops of colour continued throughout the day, which is just one of the many things that I loved about this wedding.

Before the ceremony, Siobhán showed her appreciation by presenting her bridesmaids and flower girl with gorgeous jewellery, which was a lovely touch and well received by the girls.

The gents donned navy suits with alternating orange and green ties, which instantly popped in photos. I love that this couple dared to be a little different.

There were a few nerves in the Church as Dan waited on Siobhán to arrive!

Thankfully she wasn’t too late, arriving in an open top car with her dad! The day offered beautiful weather, allowing them to arrive in style!

A lovely mid-week wedding, Siobhán and Dan said their nuptials in front of their friends and families.

The church itself was spectacular, offering a beautiful backdrop for some stunning photos.

The bridal and grooms party gathered as the newlyweds signed the wedding register, before heading outside for some group photos at the Church’s beautiful front.

With gorgeous blue skies, I stole the happy couple away for some photos together. We weren’t short of opportunities as the location offered some amazing settings.

Siobhán chose a gorgeous, lace fishtail gown, which perfectly matched the venue’s vintage vibes.

The wedding guests gathered on the lawn for a group photo before the celebrations kicked off!

The couple chose a nature theme, which was mirrored in their choice of table decorations, with each table given its own animal and feature as its centrepiece.

The barn at Cooling Castle has always been a favourite of mine and it didn’t disappoint! Simple pops of colour and lashings of romantic fairy lights were all that were needed to bring the setting to life.

A Celtic football shirt was a gift from Siobhán’s dad who had it signed by some well known legendary Celtic players.

The best man’s speech was fantastic with plenty of tales of their childhood together. He even laid down on the ground as he recounted one of many stories about Dan and his misfortunes in his scout days.

Their spectacular five-tier cake was lovingly decorated with flowers to continue their nature theme.

The turrets of Cooling Castle never fail to look impressive in photos, as I gathered the lads for a couple of photos.

Both Dan and Siobhán wanted some photos that not only captured their day but which were a little bit different. We set aside some time in the evening to create stunning shots at sunset, giving me the chance to get creative with lighting. The sky looked beautiful at that time of day.
