Rhea & Dan’s Greenwich Park Engagement Session

In all the excitement and chaos of planning a wedding, it can be easy to forget that you are actually engaged! I love the idea of an engagement session marking a milestone in a couple’s lives together, and Rhea and Dan’s Greenwich Park engagement session did just that!

Sometimes it’s nice to slow things down a bit and capture a few quiet moments together, ahead of the big day. I offer this service to couples as it affords them the opportunity to see how well we work together. They also get insight into what they can expect from me as a photographer on their wedding day.

Earlier this year, I met Rhea and Dan at one of the London wedding fairs I exhibited at. As soon as I met the happy couple, I loved the excitement they exuded for planning their wedding day. This was definitely infectious! Their love for each other was easy to see. I just knew that they would be naturals in front of the camera.

After chatting about their wedding plans and what they envisioned for their day, we choose Greenwich Park as the location for their engagement session.

On the day, it was a little chilly and overcast, but thankfully dry, which offered a great environment for photos.

Greenwich Park affords plenty of beautiful backdrops. I loved taking advantage of the natural lighting as it shone beautifully through the trees.

I was almost blinded by Rhea’s stunner of an engagement ring! With a heart shaped diamond, it was one of the sparkliest engagement rings I’ve seen for a while. I was excited that the camera would pick it up beautifully.

I had a fun day with Rhea and Dan and wish them every luck on their wedding day this year.
