Emma & Kingsley’s Marygreen Manor Pre-wedding Session

With Emma and Kingsley’s wedding day just a matter of weeks away, it was time to get together for their pre-wedding session.

There’s no doubt that wedding planning can be stressful and with their wedding taking place next month, the time felt right to take a step back, slow things down and focus on the happy couple. Not only does a pre-wedding session boast the advantage of making a momentous occasion, but it also allows us to try out a few ‘poses’ ahead of the wedding day, so that on the day, the wedding photo experience is fun and fuss-free.

Fortunately, the weather was on our side! The previous week brought with it strong winds and rain so our timing was definitely perfect.

Emma and Kingsley choose the Marygreen Manor Hotel for their pre-wedding session as a nice warm-up to their wedding day there next month.

Although small and compact, the garden offers many little pockets for photos opportunities, meaning we could keep photos fresh. And with spring finally making an appearance, there was an abundance of beautiful colours to play around with.

With no disturbances we were able to move around the garden, stopping at different backdrops along the way. The couple were immediately at ease in front of the camera, and we used the time to discuss their wedding photos and how I would capture their day, while meandering around the garden and trying out various poses.

I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding day at the Marygreen Manor Hotel next month.
