Greenwich Park PreWedding Session with Ben & Kelly

Having met Kelly at a wedding fair about a year ago it was great to meetup in person again not only to get some great prewedding session photos but also to spend some time together discussing their wedding and plans for their big day. Having already swapped phone calls and emails over the months leading up to their day I already had a good idea for what they were expecting from me.

We headed over to Greenwich Park in London and spent about an hour getting some great photos before heading off to the cafe to discuss the finer details of their day.

Here are a few of the photos I took on their prewedding session.

I love photographing in parks as there are so many different options when it comes to lighting and backgrounds. Using the tree cover and lovely light that was available helped to keep separation from them and the background especially since they were both dressed in black. I love concentrating on details and picking up on moments and whilst Ben and Kelly were sitting on the bench there was a lovely moment where Ben held Kelly’s knee and her hand naturally went on top.

Ben and Kelly were clearly comfortable in front of the camera and of course with each other. It’s easy to see that their feelings for one another and they really didn’t need to much encouragement as we moved around the park.

Loving black and white and with their outfits it would have been a shame not to have included some black and white photos in with their prewedding session photos.

I really enjoyed photographing Ben & Kelly’s prewedding session at Greenwich Park and can’t wait to photograph both their wedding day in just a couple of months time!
