Mary-Anne & Steven’s wedding was a day to remember and was simply stunning from start to finish. The happy couple were married on the 18th June at Nurstead Court in Kent.
The day got off to a great start with bridal preparations taking place in the beautifully converted Old Stables and Coach House. I used the opportunity to snap some natural shots of the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready, as well as some detail shots which always make for welcome additions to wedding albums.
Mary-Anne surprised her bridesmaids with earrings as a wedding gift which the girls just loved.
Steven sported a gorgeous Armani watch and cuff-links detailing his wedding date and venue – a nice personal touch!
The ceremony took place in the gorgeous drawing room of Nurstead House, which was full of charm! It was an emotional affair with both parents and guests shedding a few tears throughout the day.
Even though their wedding day was a serious occasion there were more than a few moments of spontaneous humor which just had to be photographed.
Following a night of rain, the day itself was thankfully, dry which allowed us to capture the group photos outside, making the most of the venue’s stunning surroundings.
Wanting to provide guests with entertainment with a difference, Mary-Anne & Steven organised mini golf which took place in the beautiful south gardens.
I stole the couple away to the gardens to capture a few photos of them together, set against a stunning floral backdrop.
The wedding breakfast and reception were held in a marquee which was decorated by the couple themselves. I was super impressed by all the finishing touches.
Mary-Anne surprised Steven with a change of location for their honeymoon, swapping a trip to Mexico for 10 nights in the Maldives!
The day was definitely filled with love, laughter and happiness.
Wishing Mary-Anne & Steven many happy years together!
Another great wedding day and one I’m proud to have been invited to document. It was a pleasure spending the day with Mary-Anne, Steven, their families and friends. I’m sure they will have a fantastic life together as Mr & Mrs Barden!
