Dawn & Shuan’s Pre-wedding Session, Hylands Park

On a glorious summer’s day, I met up with Dawn and Shaun for their pre-wedding session at Hylands Park in Chelmsford.

It’s now just a few weeks until their wedding next month at The White Hart Inn in Great Yeldham, Essex and the happy couple were in great spirits, excited and a little nervous about the day ahead.

Hylands Park is one of my favourite spots for this type of shoot and given that it’s the middle of summer, the garden was in full bloom, adding an array of gorgeous colours to their photos.

Dawn and Shaun quickly settled into the shoot, and were up for trying an array of poses. The session afforded us the opportunity to play around with different positions, so that when it comes to their wedding day, they’ll feel at ease. The pre-wedding session also gives the couple a set of beautiful photos, perfect for marking this momentous occasion in their lives.

Plus, we discussed their wedding day plan, such as timings, photo requirements and locations at the venue, helping ensure that everything goes smoothly on the day.

As always, the gardens at Hylands Park didn’t disappoint. Fortunately it wasn’t too busy given the good weather as we made our way around it, utilising its abundance of colours and prime photo locations, such as under the leafy shelter of trees, and covered canopy area, home to gorgeous draped greenery, which offered a tropical feel.

I’m really looking forward to Dawn and Shaun’s wedding next month. It is sure to be one to always remember.
